and Im not actually sure about this but may I ask..
Do you have experience living in St. Louis?
I was just curious because you have the same name with

Sen. Dodd was simply using he and Brians conversation, which was manipulated,as a "prop" in his bid for President.

Matt,

I just finished "Getting The Picture" and want to tell you it's the best writing in the photo industry I've ever read. Congratulations!

Your work is also stellar. You basically got it made in the shade, as us old farts, err, photographers, say. Keep up the great work and I'm very glad to have run into your site.

Matt-
Thanks for introducing me to your blog and website. I remember you running around SUNY-B with a camera (taking amazing pictures) and I am so amazed, awed, and happy to see what you have done with all your talent, insight, and amazing eye for the moment!

I Read your Viewpoint about “dear old Dad” in the Dallas Morning News Saturday and think we had the SAME Dad – mine is also an Aerospace engineer who really worked hard right up until he turned 72, now is retired and has moved with my Mom (both age 75) to Colorado Springs. He also played tennis!

Great article – your dad (and mine) ROCKS!

This is great! Great work!! It is pleasant to see there still is somebody who understand what the art is. Especially I liked Alexandra's photos.

I run a photo restoration website, but I plan to start shooting in the future.

Keep it on Matt!!;)

Matt: I have to say I love the look of your new blog. I have intermittently checked out your work since I first heard you speak at the Sportsshooter Luau. Your photography is incredible and your writing is also high calibre. I really enjoyed your article that ran in the Washington Post (which re ran in Rangefinder.) While I only shoot weddings and portraits very rarely I have to say that looking at your work serves as an inspiration. Randy Vanderveen
